As a business based in the Scottish Highlands, we understand the challenges a rural location can present when trying to acquire the parts and supplies essential to keep your business going - one of our core aims is to bridge that divide for you.

Our team has a combined experience of over 100 years in the plumbing and heating trade.  Throughout that time, we have cultivated and nurtured strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure no matter where you are in the UK - we can and will do everything in our powers to get you the part you require.

We are a plumbers’ merchant born of fellow industry professionals who appreciate and understand the challenges we in the industry face daily.

Founder Ally Gillies is a plumber by trade and personally has more than 40 years’ experience.  Ally has lived and breathed all things plumbing and heating since entering the industry as an apprentice at the age of 16. He and his wife Pauline started the business when they saw the opportunity to address an accessibility issue for plumbing and heating parts and spares for those also in remote Highland locations.

Having been a plumber and working in the area Ally knew he and Pauline could make a positive difference for Highland plumbers, but why stop there? Helping everyone across the UK and beyond is what Buy Plumbing Online is all about.
