    Ideal Standard Armitage Shanks Inlet Valve Univalve Service Kit SV90167 - New Inlet Servicing Kit.

    This service kit from Ideal Standard / Armitage Shanks is for inlet valves supplied fitted to a range of units by Ideal Standard, Armitage Shanks and Sottini. It has been designed to be used to service the newer 'Univalve' quarter turn release SV range of valves and not the older compression design style of valves.

    If your Ideal Standard inlet valve won't shut off properly it could very well be that the diaphragm washer inside of the valve needs to be replaced. Over time as the valve is continuously opening and closing, small tears can start to form in the diaphragm washer, in turn the diaphragm washer will no longer give a good seal. Some people jump the gun by purchasing a full replacement inlet valve at the first sign of a problem when replacing one small part might be all that s needed - this is where this kit comes in handy.
